Omaha Inland Port Authority Welcomes Yolanda R. Williams as Business Operations Manager
OMAHA, Neb. — The Omaha Inland Port Authority (OIPA) is pleased to announce the addition of Yolanda R. Williams, affectionately known throughout the community as “Ms. Yo,” as its new Business Operations Manager.
A respected executive leader, community advocate, and collaborative problem-solver, Williams brings more than 20 years of experience in organizational leadership, strategic partnerships, public engagement, and community impact. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a deep commitment to strengthening communities, building meaningful relationships, and creating opportunities that help organizations and individuals thrive.
Known for her ability to build consensus and foster collaboration across sectors, Williams has earned a reputation as a trusted leader dedicated to advancing initiatives that create lasting community impact. Her extensive leadership experience includes serving as Vice President of the Omaha Public Schools Board of Education, Director for the Nebraska Association of School Boards, Delegate to the National School Boards Association’s Council of Urban Boards of Education, member of the Learning Community Achievement Council, member of the Douglas County Board of Health, and Education Chair for the Omaha NAACP.
Williams holds a Bachelor of Arts in Arts Management with minors in Art History and Studio Arts, as well as an Associate of Applied Science degree in Interior Design. Her diverse professional and leadership background reflects a lifelong commitment to service, organizational excellence, and community advancement.

As Business Operations Manager, Williams will support organizational operations, strategic initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and administrative functions that help advance OIPA's mission of fostering economic growth and investment throughout North Omaha and the greater Omaha region.
