OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - A Washington, D.C., man educated in Nebraska is returning to take the helm at the Omaha Inland Port Authority.
Garry Clark started his job as OPIA director on Monday after the board approved his hire on July 3. The nine-person city commission appointed by the mayor oversees major development in North Omaha near the airport.
“Nebraska is near and dear to my heart. I am really excited about returning — this is a full-circle moment for me,” Clark said in a Monday news release.
