Your Voice in the Inland Port’s Future

A community gathering with hands raised

The Omaha Inland Port Authority actively engages with the local community to ensure development projects reflect the neighborhood's needs and priorities.

Through the Community Advisory Committee, public meetings, surveys, and other engagement initiatives, the Authority gathers input from residents, business owners, local officials, and youth. These efforts help guide planning, promote transparency, and create opportunities for the community to shape the growth and future of the inland port district.

Community Advisory Committee

The Omaha Inland Port Authority Community Advisory Committee (CAC) was established through Nebraska Revised Statute § 13-3306.01(6). This committee brings community voices directly into our planning and decision-making process. Members help shape priorities and ensure that projects reflect the needs and aspirations of the people they serve.
